We provide 6'6" medium actions spin cast fishing rods and reels for your use. Feel free to bring your own equipment if you wish.
Most of the time we will be using cork and jig. We also use spinner baits, gold spoons, jigs, and top water lures. The type of tackle will depend on the season and fishing conditions. You can be sure that your New Orleans fishing guide will know exactly what the fish are biting on.
We will leave the dock at safe light (daybreak). We will return to the dock between 1:00- 1:30 p.m. If you're needing special requirements we can customize a guided fishing trip for your needs.

We always recommend you bring polarized sunglasses, sun block, hat, camera, and seasonal clothing. You will also need a Louisiana Fishing License and State ID. Make sure to bring an ice chest for your cleaned and bagged catch. You may also want to bring snacks, and beverages (yes alcohol is allowed).

If its scattered showers, we normally still a go unless there is lightening. If it’s a down pour, we normally cancel and return deposit or reschedule a day that works best for you.
Yes, our guides will be happy to bait hooks, handle fish and de-hook. We’re also happy to teach you how to do so yourself if you’d like.
Flounder would be most commonly caught in the spring and summer.
